Beagle - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Jarvis

Jarvis is a wonderful little dog who weighs about 25 pounds. He is slightly larger than a beagle, but has the coloring of a different dog. We really aren't sure what breeds are in his mix. His coat is a very striking tan with black accents, and it is short and easy to manage. He has a very kind face, and warm brown eyes. He is the sweetest dog you could ever meet, and he loves to please! He is great at following instructions, and would make a great pet in just about any setting. He loves other dogs, and humans of all sorts! Because of his handy size, he would make a great pet for an apartment setting. However, he would also welcome the chance to live in a home with a securely fenced backyard where he could go for potty breaks. Either way, he would be happy wherever his caregiver lives - as long as he has a chance to snuggle and cuddle-up with his family members. He is house-trained, and crate trained too! He is very much the gentleman at our adoption events, remaining quiet in his crate while intently observing all those who come to see him and his friends. Jarvis has a skin condition which you probably would not have noticed had we not told you. It is very manageable with daily medication that is relatively inexpensive. We did not realize he had this condition at first, and a vet trained at recognizing this somewhat rare condition told us all about it. He gave us the medicine and Jarvis takes joyfully each day! He is such a sweetheart! The condition affects the top of his nose, a little like acne in humans. With the medicine, the slight bumps are hardly noticeable. If you can look past a blemish or two on a doggie nose, you will find an incredibly wonderful dog, well behaved and deserving of all that life has to offer including a human to love him as a family member.
