Hi my name is Shelby and I have had a really rough 6 years of life so far. I was part of a seizure of 40 dogs, where we were living in deplorable conditions. Most of us were either chained up or kept in horse stalls our entire lives. Even though I have had a tough life, I am a very sweet and gentle girl. I really like people and other animals (even cats). I just love belly and head rubs! I would be great for a family but would prefer a home that would have kids a little older who would appreciate everything that I have been though in my life so far. I am Heartworm positive so I am going though treatment right now. Luckily there were lots of wonderful people that came to my rescue to help get me feeling healthy again so that I can now go to my furever home!
