Description

Labrador Retriever - Large - Young - Male - Dog - Silas
Description
Silas is the type of puppy that falls over in delight when you pet him. He is the type of puppy that slowly and carefully crawls into your lap and then snuggles in with a grin on his face. He is the type of puppy that loves to play fetch, that loves a game of chase but also loves to lay at your feet and give a big sigh of contentment. In short, if there was a contest for "Best Puppy of the Year", we would enter Silas! Silas and his sister, Quinn, were rescued from the Pilot Point Shelter. They both are thriving and doing very very well. We think that they are lab with perhaps some pointer, maybe a splash of border collie. He currently weighs 30 lbs and will likely weigh 60+ as an adult. He is very trainable and eager to please. He does well with other dogs and cats. He walks on a leash, knows how to sit, and is working on his potty training. He needs a home where he will be a member of the family and treated like the prince that he is. If you would like to meet our sweet Silas, please email Michele at mehelfrich@pwhome.com for an application. Home check and vet check required. Fenced yard required. No children under 5 please (tots and pups are not a good blend). The pictures were taken on 8/17 at approximately 4 months old.The $150.00 adoption fee helps cover the cost of care including spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations, microchip, and worming. All adult dogs are heartworm tested and are heartworm negative unless otherwise stated.
