Meet Moxie Roxie! The best way that I can describe Roxie is like fine wine or faultless cheese that has been aged to perfection. What can I say? This beautiful girl is the perfect dog. She has the manners of a perfect child; she waits to be invited before she hops onto furniture or the bed. She has had only 1 accident (the first day) in her new foster home and always goes quickly outside to take care of her business. She loves to play with her toys, cuddle with her foster mom and other canine friends, and has been totally trustworthy when left in the house and not crated. Her sparkling dark eyes express gratefulness and adoring love every time that she looks at you. She is a cuddle bug who is happy watching TV or exploring in the house and yard. Roxie has a loving disposition and is a true delight. She loves sleeping in the bed with her foster mom and dad which is a pleasure because she is very quiet and still all night. Roxie does well with most females or male dogs. She also would do well as an only dog. We would love to see Roxie adopted by a family who is looking for a faithful companion to share their time. Roxie is a purebred salt and pepper Mini Schnauzer who we estimate is between 6 and 8 years old. Her tail is docked and ears cropped. She weighs approximately 18lbs. Even though Roxie has had a very tough life and been neglected, you wouldnt know it by her personality. She exhibits the breed standard personality: intelligent, independent yet very loving, and intermediate dominance level. Roxie is crate trained and house trained. Roxie is spayed, microchipped, and current on all shots. She has had to have some teeth removed, but she is still able to eat a dry kibble diet. Home, vet check, and wood fenced yard required.The $150.00 adoption fee helps cover the cost of care including spay/neuter, first set of vaccinations, microchip, and worming. All adult dogs are heartworm tested and are heartworm negative unless otherwise stated.
