Beau is a cute and happy neutered Yorkie/Corgi mix who is heartworm positive. This is a treatable disease but you would need to talk to your vet regarding treatment plans if you wish to adopt Beau.ADOPTION PROCESS: The process of adoption entails you coming to the Animal Shelter and filling out an adoption application. You must be 18 years of age, and provide a valie photo ID. The adoption fee is $70.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats. This fee includes the following: first set of vaccinations, a rabies vaccines, city license, the spay/neuter, a microchip, and a heartworm test. The adopted pet will have the above done, by our veterinarian, before the animal can leave the shelter, unless the vet specifies otherwise due to age, heatlh or injury. SHELTER HOURS: The following are hours that the Animal Shelter is open for the public to view adoptable animals: Monday-Friday: Noon-6:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday: Noon-5:00 p.m. **Because this is a public animal shelter that serves a large number of animals, we unfortunately cannot hold adoptable pets for a long time....please come meet the animal you are interested in soon!**
