DD is a very sweet people-oriented girl who can never get enough attention from her person. She is also a high-energy girl and would be an ideal companion on walks or even jogging excursions. DD's ideal forever home will already have Basenji experience and because her early life consisted of backyard living, she will need a home that will be patient enough to teach her the niceties of life indoors. While she is great with people she needs to be the only dog and also can not live with a cat. She will do great with older children but would be much too rough for a small child.
