Lola is about 2-3 years old and was rescued from another shelter. This baby was originally found as a stray with her collar embedded in her neck. Those wounds have healed but she still has heartworms and we are trying to raise $225.00 to have her treated. If you can help, please donate to our Angel Fund in her name at www.dfwhumane.com. Update: Lola has completed her heartworm treatment and is ready for adoption. Lola was adopted for a little while but was returned because she didn't like like the cows and they were concerned that she would get hurt. Here is what they said about Lola: LOLA IS VERY SWEET AND LOVING,SHE SITS ON COMMAND,SHE WALKS GREAT ON A LEASH. WE KEPT HER IN THE HOUSE WHEN WE WERE IN THE HOUSE AND SHE LEARNED VERY FAST THAT SHE WASNT ALLOWED IN THE KIDS ROOM AND SHE WAS VERY CALM WHEN IT WAS TIME TO GO TO BED.SHE WAS ALSO VERY GOOD WHEN I GAVE HER BATHS. WHEN SHE NEEDED TO USE THE RESTROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SHE WOULD COME STAND BY THE END OF THE BED TO LET ME KNOW SHE NEEDED OUT.SHE GOT ALONG WELL WITH OUR OTHER DOGS EVEN THE POODLE. LOLA IS A VERY SMART AND AFFECTIONATE COMPANION WHO DESERVES A GREAT HOME AND THE SNORTING THING SHE DOES IS ADORABLE.
