Bloodhound - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Remus

Hello, Remus, guess thats me. What everyone around here calls me at least. I had a home and sometimes got called Remo there but mostly Im Remus. My foster mom tells me I was really sick when I got to rescue; I dont really remember that time but I got well and even adopted after.There was a big mean dog in my home and so when my parents moved they left me behind because of him. They were afraid he might hurt me because Im a lover and hate to fight or fuss. The only time I ever get fussy is when someone wants to take my food or chew; I know I have to let my foster mom have anything she wants but I dont have to be happy about it. I love my foster people though, I lived here before and they are the people who saved my life and got me well. Im sure my foster mom can tell you all about that time but she said to be sure you all know it wasnt anything I still have any problems with. I do have problems with itchy skin and take medicine for that; I itched all the time before but hardly ever now, Im very thankful for that. Being itchy all the time is horrible. My foster mom thinks you should know the medicine I take is kinda expensive because that stuff is important when someone thinks about a new forever family.Favorite things? Well, that would be smelling stuff, eating and getting attention. I love to smell and when Im outside I dont even want to take time to wrestle and play with the other dogs because I need to check things out. Im supposed to remind you that Bloodhounds should never be off leash in an open area because our noses control us. Ok, said that. Eating, cant get enough of it. I have had two surgeries because I ate something nonedible I think they called it. My foster mom wont let me in the kitchen because I love dishtowels especially. She keeps dirty laundry and stuff like that away from me too along with the food storage area. I once ate a whole big bag of dog food; the vet said I could have bloated I think anyway, glad that didnt happen because sounds like it would hurt.My foster mom says Im typical Bloodhound disposition and I am the most handsome Bloodhound shes seen so maybe that tells you about me too.I need a little boost to get on the bed, it is pretty high for the foster people but most of the time thats where I sleep and take my naps. I LOVE when my foster people take naps with me sometimes my foster mom has her arm over me like Im getting hugged and napping at the same time. What fun!If youre looking for a VERY laid back mature guy with a great attitude let my rescue people know. They can answer questions and find a way for us to meet. Thanks for listening! My foster mom said that maybe someone will want to sponsor me because of the medicine and stuff, but they should know that I would still love to meet and maybe spend some time together I love getting attention, oh, going shopping at those stores with all the doggie stuff and food is lots of fun. I always get hugs and have lots of people making over me. Maybe we could at least go people places together; I remember going to work with my dad in my other home and that was just barksome!This pet is up to date on vaccines, flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative and has been or will be altered and microchipped before adoption.
