Description
Alpha and Dessy were surrendered to a high kill helter by their owner who could not longer care for them. Both of them made adoption which i no small feat for a black dog. Both Alpha and Dessy kept their sunny disposition in the shelter. Until the day that Alpha adopted out leaving Dessy behind to be euthanized alone. From the day Alpha left, Dessy sat in the corner of her cell and stared at the wall. Lucky for Dessy, she was picked up by rescue. When Dessy left the shelter, she thought she was going to be reunited with her love, Alpha. When she got arrived, she ran from black dog to black dog in search of Alpha but he was nowhere to be found. Dessy sat at the gate and howled for Alpha - day after day. Pound Pals contacted the shelter in hopes of finding Alpha's new owner and arranging a play date for him and Dessy. Fate & Destiny intervened for this duo. Apparently Alpha couldn't stand the thought of being without Dessy. Alpha made his way back to the shelter where he was immediately tagged by our rescue. This duo is finally back together!
