Job Details:
The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of Blood Bank. He/she is accountable for supervision of departmental support staff personnel, responsible for managing supplies and inventory, development/ review/revision of lab support area policies and procedures, clinical laboratory quality assessment/improvement, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies e.g., CAP, state, federal, and joint commission for Blood Bank. Responsible for the Safety section in the Laboratory. Must have a B.S. Degree in Medical Technology with a current state CLS license (if needed). 4-6 years of Blood Bank experience preferred.
