WEB/UI DEVELOPER – ($40-45/hr contract-to-hire on 1099) - Plano, Tx





DUTIES

• Creating visual design throughout the entire product development lifecycle,
from initial exploration through final design deliverables such as high-fidelity
screen layouts, user interface elements, and prototypes.
· Translating user or business owner feedback into visual user interfaces and design improvements.
· Communicating design strategy and rationale to key stakeholders.
· Developing new approaches to complex design problems and conveying ideas in tangible forms.
· Ability and desire to learn new technologies.
· Work both independently and on a small team.
· Independent task management skills.
· Motivation to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
· Ability to create well designed software applications based on client specifications.


RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design, develop, and create custom websites based on client specifications
· Bring new ideas into our company
· Create websites based on design specifications from client specifications (including use of current HTML, CSS, and javascript techniques)
· Build and deploy web applications using Visual Studio 2008 and other similar applications
· Create and design custom databases based on client specifications
· Create code that is easy to understand and maintain
