Dallas private school seeking a candidate to help develop and execute an influential Social Media/ Public Relations campaign for our private schools. This is an opportunity available for a skilled, resourceful and motivated individual who would like to make a difference in early childhood education. Position is a full-time, 3-month Term or longer. Project may turn into permanent position.
Candidate will be responsible to organize, coordinate, implement, and evaluate social media, public relations, and special events for the purpose of Brand awareness & fundraising generation for schools.
Social Media/Branding
Build, develop, and maintain a social networking community around our Brand.
Manage schools’ blog and online community
Engage and provide relevant and authoritative output in local Social Networks and forums.
Implement Social strategy to raise money for our fundraising initiatives.
Corporate Sponsorships. Promote fundraising with businesses through traditional and Social Media portals.
Be fully adapted to Web 2.0 technologies.
Public Relations
Build Brand awareness and non-profit initiative around our schools through local, national media, and trade media sources.
Promote Fundraising initiatives through products
Media training
Qualifications:
Degreed in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Related. (Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in business and management principles involved in strategic planning
Experience in fundraising and proposal developments
Local media contacts a plus.
Grant research and development in early childhood education field a plus.
Travel to the schools and the local metro area.
*We would like to see past work and projects completed by candidate.
Candidate must be able to add and adjust to new technologies and programs to optimize and grow campaign.
Compensation:
$2,400/monthly
3 months term or longer
