Prices range from around $5 to $75, depending what you;re looking for..
Attention Karate, Tae Kwon Dom MMA, and All Martial Arts Practitioners, and also people interested in weight lifting equipment: We have a surplus of some extra items that we need to sell both so we can get the cash, and to help clean up/clear out our Martial Arts school. Below is a summary of what is available:
We have a few heavy bags (punching bags)m boxing mitts, puzzle piece mats that are taped together, some weight equipment, and a selectorized weight machine that we are selling in orde to give us more room and kind of do a "Fall cleaning".
The selectorized (where you put the pin in the stack of weights to selct the wight you'll use), weight machine includes a seated chest press, seated peull-downs for working lats, etc, flyes, reverse flyes, tricep pulldowns, leg extansion sfor quads, standing hamstring curls, and many others. It comes with many add-on grip bars and accessories so you can change them out depending on what exercise you are doing. This is a really decent machine, but we;'ve since bought a larger, more versatile one, and really don't use this one much anymore. I forget the name brand of this machine, but is a good piece of equipment, and if you call/text me while I'm at th eM.M.A. gym I'll be happy to go and look for ypu. We are asking just $75 for this machine, which could easily go for a few hundred. It's in very good shape. We want to keep all of our metal weight plates for our free weight bars and our machine that takes free weights stacked on it, but we do have several coated 5 and 10 lb weights (small hole) and several barbells that go with them (the type you see in aerobic classes) that we wqill be selling, as well as a smaller bench press set that takes small hole weights (it could use the metal rubber coated ones I just described, plus it comes with its own set of plastic coated, concrete filled wight plates. The bars for the plastic coated weight I will sell individualy, but would prefer to sell all at once if possible. They come with several clips to hold the weights on the bar, so you'll be all set up and ready to go right away. Prices on these will vary depending on how many you're gettin. (This goes for the bars and the weight plates). For the smaller bench press set alone, (including adjustable bench, an add-on for pull-downs, a leg extension/hamstring curl attachment which is currently attached, and around 75-100 lbs in cement, plastic-coated weights. It has the bench press bar, which is small hole style, so it can also be added to if you purchase any additional of our metal, plastic coated small hole weight plates. For the bench press, I'm asking just $35. If you purchase that, I will give you a cheapper price on the extra weights that are metal and coated in plastic than I would if you were just buying those weight plates by themselves.
I have one Olympic weight bar which we no longer use (well, I have two, but one is defective at the end. It could actually be fixed without too much trouble, but our new machine is fitted to take olypic weight plates stacked on its bars, so we don't need the free-standing olympic bar anymore. If you buy the first one, I'll throw the second one in for $5. I'll sell the 45lb Olympic weight bar for $15, and remember, if you want them both, it'll just be $20.
We are going to keep most of our hex dumbells, but there are a few of them we don't really need, so we'll let those go for around .40 a pound. They're mostly in the 5-8-10 lb range.
I have a 100 lb Heavy Punching bag, grey with a vinyl-type (I'm pretty sur eit actually is vinyl, but I'd have to look it uo), that sells new for around $75. We'll let it go for $30 flat. Comes with hanging kookes, etc. All you need is aplace to hang it wherever you decide to put it.
We have just a few extra sets of used boxing, Karate, (punching) mitts, which we'll let go for $8 a pair. There are very few of these we are getting rid of - most of them we need to keep.
There are also a few extra random kciking, punching shields/targets that we're willing to let go fo rpretty cheap too.
ALSO, we have upgraded our computer sytem both at the gym and mine (the owner) and my other head assistant instructors' home P.C.'s that they use for business. These are not kept on site for fear of theft, but they are very nearby in Bedford, and easily accessible to show you if you call ahead to arrange an appointment. On the computers, assistant instructor Jeff Beach handles most of our IT stuff, so you may contact me, (Chris, the owner), or just contact Jeff directly concerning those. I'll include both of our email addresses and phone numbers at the bottom of this ad.
Lastly, we have Some oficial UFC fight gloves in stock which retail much higher, but right now we are selling them foir $25 a piece - only while the ones I have in stock last. The temporary wholesale price drop has gone away, so I will just be selling these at a discount while they last. My students and people from other M.M.A. school sare buying those up quickly at that price, but it can't hurt to ask if I have any left when you call. Also as a special item, I have a pair of Matt Hughes autographed 16oz blue boxing gloves for $30 and a printed photo of him that he signed as well - I'm selling that one for $10. Those two I don't keep at the gym, so please call ahead and let m eknow you're interested so I can bring those with me.
You may call, email, or text ,me (Chris Collins), and Jeff Beach is available only by telephone call or email, no texting, on his phone; it won't reach him. I'm busy enough that if I don't answer the phone when you first call, then texting me is probably thw way to get a hold of me the quickest. I know the selectorized machine won;t last long at $75, and the rest of it is a very good bargain as well, so it's not likley to last through the weekend I'd think.
We ar at the corner of Pipeline amd Hurstview in Hurst. it's 540 west Pipeline Rd. Suite C, Hurst, TX 76053.
